WTA Diary: Domi's Double Whammy
Dominika Cibulkova

Every week there's a lot happening on the WTA - on the court, off the court, by the numbers, even a few tweets... catch up on it all in this week's WTA Diary.

(Another) Rematch
On an uncharacteristically blustery Miami afternoon, Dominika Cibulkova overcame 10 breaks, eight double faults and three match points to defeat No.3 seed Agnieszka Radwanska. Her reward for prevailing in their rollercoaster quarterfinal is another chance to get one over her Australian Open conqueror, Li Na.

Thursday's other semifinal is the small matter of Serena Williams against Maria Sharapova.

Top 10er
By reaching the semis, Cibulkova is guaranteed to make her Top 10 debut.

What Sorcery Is This?
She may have ended up on the losing side, but exactly 12 months after pulling this from her locker, Radwanska did this.

In Doubles
Cibulkova was not the only one to keep the Miami dream alive by the skin of her teeth. In the doubles, Martina Hingis and Sabine Lisicki saved seven match points before finally booking their spot in the semifinals with a 36 76(7) 107 win over Anabel Medina Garrigues and Yaroslava Shvedova.

Flight 370
Given that they do the bulk of their travel by plane, the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has understandably caught the attention of many tennis players, including Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.

Lit Up
Andrea Petkovic was entertaining as ever on Tennis Now's Lightning Round.

Inside Track
Selfies with Ana Ivanovic, signings with Madison Keys and a quick catch up with Elina Svitolina, all brought to you courtesy of the WTA Insider.

Money, Money, Money
According to Chinese newspaper Titan Sports, Li Na earned a whopping 124.5 million yuan ($20.1 million) in 2013.

Tweet Of The Week
After earning a reputation as the WTA's three-set queen in 2013 - she went the distance 39 times - Petra Kvitova was glad to knock off early a couple of times in Miami.
