WTA Diary: Back To Winning Ways
Sabine Lisicki, Martina Hingis

Every week there's a lot happening on the WTA - on the court, off the court, by the numbers, even a few tweets... catch up on it all in this week's WTA Diary.

Back To Winning Ways
After being knocked out of Indian Wells in yet another tight loss to a top team, Martina Hingis started to question her commitment to her latest comeback. Two weeks, five wins and one title later and the picture looks a whole lot rosier.

"I think two weeks ago when you asked me, it probably would be a completely different answer from today," Hingis said after picking up the Miami title alongside Sabine Lisicki. "Like last week, I was like, I'm not sure if I want to put myself out there like this and lose first, second round.

"Now, after this victory, definitely things change!"

Team Serena
Also leaving Crandon Park with a spring in her step was Serena Williams, who overcame a slow start to defeat Li Na and pick up a seventh title at the venue. She needs brush up on her use of Hawk-Eye, though.

Smart Tennis
While Mrs. Watson may not agree, Hingis thinks Serena is playing smarter than ever.

In México
Ana Ivanovic and Caroline Wozniacki helped to promote this week's Monterrey Open by joining wheelchair tennis players Lizbeth Soto and Carlos Muro for an exhibition in San Pedro de Pinta.

Fright Night
Kirsten Flipkens is this week's blogger on wtatennis.com and on Monday she recapped the horror show that was the Monterrey player party.

Also blogging from México this week is Jovana Jaksic, who marked her first main draw appearance of the season by knocking out No.7 seed Karin Knapp on an upset-filled opening day.
