Every week there's a lot happening on the WTA - on the court, off the court, by the numbers, even a few tweets... catch up on it all in this week's WTA Diary.

Can't Stand Up For Falling Down
On Tuesday, Eugenie Bouchard came through her first assignment of the European clay court season, although not without a few slips and slides along the way.

Three-peat
One player that's looked decidedly sure-footed on the clay in recent times is Maria Sharapova, who over the weekend won her third straight Stuttgart title.

Raring To Go
Another player with a none-too-shabby record on the dirt is Serena Williams, who is "hungry" for more success ahead of the defense of her Madrid title.

Comeback?
Rumors are circulating in the French press that Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli is contemplating a comeback.

Talking Of Wimbledon...
The All-England Club has announced a 10% prize money increase for this year's tournament.

Injury Update
Victoria Azarenka is out of Madrid and Rome, while Bethanie Mattek-Sands has undergone hip surgery.

Congratulations
In happier news, last Sunday, Elena Dementieva and her husband, Maxim Afinogenov, welcomed their first child, Veronika.
