Azarenka Out Of Roland Garros

Former World No.1 Victoria Azarenka, who has been out of action for more than two months due to a left foot injury, has withdrawn from the upcoming French Open.

Victoria Azarenka, who has been out of action for more than two months due to a left foot injury, has withdrawn from the upcoming French Open, she announced to her fans over Twitter on Sunday.

Azarenka, a former No.1 who was a solid No.2 behind Serena Williams coming out of the Australian swing this year, has played only one match since Australia - dropping her opener at Indian Wells - and has withdrawn from a slew of scheduled stops, including big ones in Doha, Miami, Madrid and Rome.

And now, Roland Garros. This is the first time she has ever had to pull out before a Grand Slam.
