WTA Diary: Bartoli Takes High Road
Eugenie Bouchard

Every week there's a lot happening on the WTA - on the court, off the court, by the numbers, even a few tweets... catch up on it all in this week's WTA Diary.

Back To Winning Ways
Eugenie Bouchard eased past Barbora Zahlavova Strycova in Nürnberg to snap a three-match losing streak. She's also made it onto a list of the world's 50 most marketable sports stars, compiled by UK magazine SportPro.

Early Exit
Victoria Azarenka, who has been laid low since Indian Wells with a foot injury, revealed via Twitter on Sunday night that she will also miss the upcoming French Open.

High Ground
Marion Bartoli is clearly willing to forgive and forget with John Inverdale, whom she's teaming up with for ITV's French Open coverage.

"I'd known John a long time, and I knew what he was trying to say. At the end of the day I am a tennis player, I know I'm not 6ft tall, I'm not the same long, lean shape as Maria Sharapova, but the beauty of tennis is that anyone can win, tall or short. Something the press took to be negative to me was a positive," Bartoli said in a joint interview with Inverdale for the Radio Times.

Farewell Bally
Laura Robson, Anne Keothavong and Tim Henman were among those who came to pay their respects at Elena Baltacha's funeral on Monday.

A day earlier, Robson and Keothavong held a clinic attended a clinic attended by 70 kids at Baltacha's academy in Ipswich.

Helping Hand
Ana Ivanovic paid a visit to UNESCO's offices in Belgrade to offer her help for the victims of the devastating floods in the Balkans.

Best Laid Plans
Rory McIlroy's proposal to Caroline Wozniacki didn't exactly go to plan.

La Monf
Samantha Stosur has been fine-tuning her game ahead of the French Open by taking on Gaël Monfils.
