Rising star Madison Keys made her second WTA semifinal of the season this week in Strasbourg, a good sign as she prepares for her second French Open.

The 19-year-old American recently sat down with SI.com for a wide-ranging interview in which she discussed her superstitions, post-loss rituals, texting pet peeves and the 3am decision that changed her life.
