Former World No.25 Jarmila Gajdosova earned the eighth and final wildcard into Wimbledon by virtue of her triumph over Timea Bacsinszky in the final of the Aegon Nottingham Challenge.

The former World No.25 and current World No.223 won 12 matches in eight days, having also claimed the doubles title alongside fellow Australian Arina Rodionova.

Mononucleosis kept Gajdosova out of action for much of 2013.
