Wozniak Qualifies For Wimbledon
Aleksandra Wozniak

Aleksandra Wozniak has not had the best luck in recent years. The lowest ebb came last season, when a career-threatening shoulder injury sidelined the Canadian and saw her come close to dropping out of the Top 400.

Having elected not to have surgery, Wozniak is back on tour and looks keen to make up for lost time. A number of encouraging results have seen her bound back up the rankings and on Thursday she scored a straight set win over Melanie Oudin to qualify for her seventh Wimbledon.

Read about Wozniak's win and the rest of the main draw qualifiers in the roundup on Wimbledon's official website.
