LONDON, England - Madison Keys often makes things look very easy on a tennis court. However, she is certainly not afraid of winning ugly when need be, as she did against Klara Koukalova.

On a drizzly evening in south-west London, Keys kept her composure to survive a purple patch from her Czech opponent and book a third round meeting with Yaroslava Shvedova.

The New York Times' Harvey Araton was out on Court 12 to run the rule over the young American during her 7-5, 6-7(3), 6-2 win.
