Lisicki Vs Ivanovic To Resume Monday
Yaroslava Shvedova, Madison Keys

LONDON, England - Rain and eventually darkness delayed the completion of two Wimbledon third round matches until Monday, with No.19 seed Sabine Lisicki up a set on No.11 seed Ana Ivanovic and Yaroslava Shvedova up a set on Madison Keys.

In just her second meeting with 2014 WTA match win leader Ivanovic on Saturday, the big-serving Lisicki broke serve twice and was broken once en route to a 6-4 first set win that saw her fire 20 winners. They each then traded holds to start the second set before play was suspended with Lisicki up 6-4, 1-1.

Lisicki's 21-5 record here far exceeds her results at the other Grand Slams, and in fact she has at least reached the quarterfinals in four straight Wimbledon outings - highlighted by a semifinal showing in 2011 and a run to the final in 2013.

As for Shvedova and Keys' maiden match-up, Shvedova pulled out a first set tie-break and then broke Keys to force a second set tie-break when play was suspended. The statistics indicate just how close the match is, with each player having broken serve five times and Shvedova having won three more points than Keys.

Shvedova and Keys will resume with Shvedova up 7-6(7), 6-6. Keys will likely welcome the two day break, as she was battling a leg injury in the second set.

The winners of these last two third round clashes will play each other in the fourth round. If Lisicki and Shvedova each hold on, it will be their first encounter since the 2012 Olympics played on these same grass courts at the All-England Club. Lisicki won that one in a tight three-setter to take a 2-1 lead in their head-to-head.
