LONDON, England - Cara Black has enjoyed her fair share of memorable moments on the famed lawns of the All-England Club. However, it was an impromptu hit on the not-quite-so-immaculate grass courts of her family home in Harare, Zimbabwe that inspired her return to tennis.

The New York Times' Harvey Araton took a trip down memory lane with Black.
