Petra Kvitova captured her second Wimbledon title in four years with a 6-3, 6-0 defeat of Eugenie Bouchard in Saturday's final, the most lopsided Wimbledon final in 22 years.

Though many had viewed this fortnight as the changing of the guard in the women's game, the 24-year-old Kvitova showed experience still matters.
