June 2014 WTA Rising Star Of The Month Finalists:

Eugenie Bouchard: 20-year-old Eugenie Bouchard continued her stellar Grand Slam form reaching her very first Grand Slam final at Wimbledon. The 20-year-old made tennis history becoming the first Canadian to make a Grand Slam final. Bouchard had a tough road to the final defeating Andrea Petkovic in the third round, Alizé Cornet in the round of 16 and Top 10 players Angelique Kerber and Simona Halep in the quarter and semifinals. Bouchard would eventually fall in straight sets to a red-hot Petra Kvitova in the final. Following Wimbledon, Bouchard broke into the Top 10 becoming the highest ranked Canadian in history.

Madison Keys: 19-year-old Keys had a month she will never forget. After an early exit in the second round of Birmingham, Keys entered the Aegon International wanting more grass court experience before heading into Wimbledon. Keys started off with an impressive straight set win over Jelena Jankovic and rode that momentum all the way to her first WTA final. There she battled past Angelique Kerber in a tight three-setter and captured her first WTA title. How happy was she after the match? "I'm just so incredibly happy," Keys expressed after the match. "It's one of those things where when you're training and you don't want to be there, you're tired or everything hurts, you think of this moment, and it really helps push you through all of the hard times."

Coco Vandeweghe: 22-year-old Vandeweghe captured her first career title at the Topshelf Open, the week before Wimbledon. Vandeweghe had one of, if not the hardest route to the final having to come through qualifying. She defeated fellow WTA Rising Stars Kristina Mladenovic and Garbiñe Muguruza and in the final topped Zheng Jie in straight sets.
