No.2 seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova went down on Monday, four more seeds including No.1 seed Alizé Cornet were sidelined on Tuesday, and with Wednesday's elimination of three more seeds at the Collector Swedish Open, the event became just the third this century to not have any seeded players make the quarterfinals.
