November 2nd, the very first week of the off-season after a grueling year-long tennis season. Most players take the month off for holidays in sunny tropical islands - but not Caroline Wozniacki.

Wozniacki appeared on CBS This Morning Thursday to announce she will be running the 2014 New York City Marathon. Wozniacki will be running with the New York Road Runners club in support of the Team for Kids charity.

"When I cross the finish line in Central Park, it will be one of the most rewarding days of my life, not only because of the personal accomplishment, but also because it will help thousands of kids to get healthy and fit through sports," said Wozniacki.

Wozniacki won't be the first WTA star to run. Former World No.1 Amélie Mauresmo ran back in 2010.
