WTA Diary: Best Of Enemies
Ana Ivanovic

Every week there's a lot happening on the WTA - on the court, off the court, by the numbers, even a few tweets... catch up on it all in this week's WTA Diary.

Frenemies
Ana Ivanovic and Sorana Cirstea put their friendship on hold for a couple of hours on Monday night as they battled it out for a place in the second round of the Western & Southern Open.

As she had in their previous two encounters, Ivanovic came out on top, this Radwanska-esque winner helping her to a 6-1, 7-5 win.

Looking Ahead
There's plenty to look forward to on Tuesday, too, including the potential second round slugfest between 2011 champ Maria Sharapova and WTA Rising Star Madison Keys.

WTA Live
Maria was one of several big names chatting to Kristen Aldridge for the latest episode of WTA Live All Access Hour presented by Xerox.

Upwardly Mobile
Simona Halep may have been taking a well-earned break in recent weeks, but that hasn't stopped her climbing to the giddy heights of No.2 in the rankings.

Stay Positive
Also on an upward curve at the moment is Caroline Wozniacki, who feels the hard work behind the scenes if finally starting to pay off.

Under Pressure?
Even though things haven't exactly gone to plan at the Slams in 2014, Serena Williams insists the pressure has "lifted" going into her US Open defense.

Inner Animal
Talking of which, here's what Serena will be wearing in New York.

One For The Future
Joining her there, although probably not in the same outfit, will be CiCi Bellis, who earned a wildcard spot by winning the USTA Girls' 18s National Championship.

Robin Williams
On a more somber note, the tennis world paid its respects to Hollywood legend Robin Williams.
