She has 23 Grand Slam titles, she's back on top of the rankings - and she has a brand-new sparkling engagement ring on her finger.
No wonder Serena Williams's mom Oracene Price says her daughter is a very happy woman.
"I think it is the happiest she's been," Price said to the New York Post, adding that it was no surprise that Serena had reclaimed the World No.1 spot: "She's at the top of her game now because she's smarter and has more experience."
The 35-year-old got engaged to Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian at the end of 2016 - and Price revealed that the entrepreneur had asked her for permission to marry her daughter.
"He was going to do it anyway, but he was following the proper etiquette," she said, before talking about the couple's special definition of romance.
"There was this shirt [Serena] liked but couldn't find it, a black-and-red check shirt," Price said, "and he went online and found it for her. To me, that's romantic because you're listening to the person you're caring about say something and you're doing something about it."
