Hi Guys - Unfortunately I will not be able to compete in Roland Garros this year. Working hard on my recovery & getting back on the court.
I just want to thank you all for your support. It means a lot to me. Be in touch soon! Love -V
Azarenka, a former No.1 who was a solid No.2 behind Serena Williams coming out of the Australian swing this year, has played only one match since Australia - dropping her opener at Indian Wells - and has withdrawn from a slew of scheduled stops, including big ones in Doha, Miami, Madrid and Rome.
And now, Roland Garros. This is the first time she has ever had to pull out before a Grand Slam.
