NÜRNBERG, Germany - The next generation got to hear words of wisdom from a Grand Slam semifinalist and WTA champion at the Nürnberger Versicherungs Cup's Kids' Day.
Defending champion Kiki Bertens was on hand for the festivities, as she spoke in a Q&A session and signed plenty of autographs for the kids in attendance, and ended with a ' Kids Cup' ceremony and medal exchange.

In addition, the Nürnberger Versicherungs Cup tallied up all the aces hit during the tournament and donated a corresponding amount to Aces For Berlin, which will benefit local wheelchair tennis programs as well as the German Open Wheelchair Tennis tournament in Berlin.
Both finalists were on hand for the check presentation, which took place after the trophy ceremony when Kiki Bertens defeated Barbora Krejcikova for the Nürnberg title.
