KEY FACTS

Samantha Stosur and Anastasija Sevastova are level at two wins apiece - the Australian having won in Bad Gastein in 2015 and Doha two years later while Sevastova prevailed in Beijing in 2010 and again in Stuttgart seven years later.

Alize Cornet is yet to record a victory over Caroline Garcia, losing all three meetngs. Garica triumphed in Marseille in 2010 and at the French Open and in Beijing in 2017.

Alize Cornet finished runner-up in Brisbane last season, losing in straight sets to Karolina Pliskova in the final.
