SAN JOSE, California - Mihaela Buzarnescu's incredible 2018 season hit its apex over the weekend when the 30-year-old Romanian captured her first WTA title at the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic to secure her Top 20 debut on Monday. 

Buzarnescu joined the WTA Insider Podcast after her win to reflect on her amazing season, which has seen her start the year with just 3 WTA match-wins in her entire career, to becoming one of the winningest players of the season.
