MIAMI, FL, USA - Conchita Martínez has announced that her coaching partnership with Garbiñe Muguruza will end after the Miami Open.
The 1994 Wimbledon champion announced on social media: "I want to share the news that my collaboration with Garbiñe has finished after Miami.
"She has decided to go back working full time with her coach. Like always it was great to work these past tournaments with her. I wish her and the rest of the team the best for the rest of year."
Martínez had previously worked with Muguruza during her Wimbledon title run last year, and rejoined the two-time major champion's coaching team in February - a move announced by the World No.3 as a temporary measure for "the next tournaments" alongside her full-time coach, Sam Sumyk.

In her first tournament working with both Sumyk and Martínez, Muguruza reached the Qatar Total Open final in Doha, losing to Petra Kvitova, and has followed that result up with a semifinal run in Dubai, a second-round exit in Indian Wells and a fourth-round showing in Miami.
