MONTRÉAL, Canada - This week the WTA headed north of the border for the Rogers Cup and also another helping of WTA Live All Access Hour presented by Xerox.
Like the players, WTA Live has been enjoying a mid-season break, so Kristen Aldridge had a lot of caching up to do with her star-studded guests. Here's what we learned...
1) Packed To The Rafters
The fans were out in force at the Stade Uniprix. And not just the locals - Eugenie Bouchard had some special visitors all the way from Down Under.
2) Parlez-Vous Français?
Maria Sharapova's French is not too shabby.
3) True Blue
Petra Kvitova revealed she is a Chelsea fan. Her favorite player? Fellow Czech and the world's finest goalkeeper, the mighty Petr Cech.
4) When In Canada
Tennis may be growing in popularity by the day, but there's no doubt that ice hockey is king in Canada. In homage to this, Petra, Jelena and Aga took on the locals at air hockey. The results were mixed.
5) No Time For Losers
A competitive streak is essential to make it to the top in any sport, and Agnieszka Radwanska's was on display as she slipped to a narrow defeat against one of the younger crowd members.
