Ana Ivanovic has joined Novak Djokovic in his quest to raise awareness of the devastating flooding currently affecting Bosnia and Serbia.

On Monday, Ivanovic visited the UNICEF offices in Belgrade, where she donated 1 million dinars (around $12,000) to the relief fund for the flooding and also discussed support plans for the children and families affected by the disaster.

At last week's Internazionali BNL d'Italia Ivanovic spoke to Serbian broadcaster B92 about the flooding: "It is very hard for me to see the photographs. I want to tell everyone to hold on. Tomorrow the rain should stop and I hope it will be better, or that floods will retreat."

After his semifinal win at the same tournament, Djokovic implored the media to increase its coverage of the flooding before donating his prize money for the week to the relief fund.
