CAMBRIDGE, MA, USA - Earlier this year Chanda Rubin was inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall Of Fame, and at the induction ceremony Zina Garrison talked about how one thing that impressed her about Rubin was that when she wasn't playing tennis, she always had a book in her hands.

Fast forward to after a tennis career that took her all the way to seven WTA titles and No.6 in the world, and Rubin has certainly embraced the challenge of academia once more, recently graduating from Harvard Extension School with an undergraduate degree - a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, cum laude.
