As recently as early June, Simona Halep was a three-time WTA finalist who had not yet captured a title. Yet over the next five months, the Romanian incredibly collected six WTA titles - at Nürnberg, 's-Hertogenbosch, Budapest, New Haven, Moscow and Sofia.
