Every week there's a lot happening on the WTA - on the court, off the court, by the numbers, even a few tweets... catch up on it all in this week's WTA Diary.
Return To Form
For Laura Robson, 2013 has been a mixed bag. A promising start Down Under, including a nerve-shredding win over Petra Kvitova, was followed by an alarming run that saw the young Brit win just two of her next nine matches on tour.
But the doubts that have beset her game in recent months were nowhere to be seen on Monday as Robson ripped through the defenses of World No.4 Agnieszka Radwanska to cause the latest upset of this year's Mutua Madrid Open.
And after her 63 61 win, Robson didn't mince her words when discussing her recent travails...
"I'd had enough of losing!"
Shot Of The Day
Despite the one-sided scoreline, Radwanska, inevitably, was not to be outdone in the shotmaking department.
Li's conqueror was Madison Keys, who, as a lucky loser, only found out she was back in the draw mid-algebra session, 10 minutes before stepping out on court.
After months of waiting, this Wednesday will finally see the unveiling of the next host city for the WTA Championships.

The Life Of A Ball Kid
Ever wondered what the relationship between the players and ball boys/girls is like at a tournament, well, wonder no longer. In summary: Serena is polite, Maria is generous and Aga is chatty.
I Don't Like Cricket
India may be cricket mad, but Sania Mirza - who is married to former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik and is a regular attendee of Indian Premier League matches - didn't seem totally bowled over by the national sport during a recent interview with The Times of India.
"I like cricket. I kind of have no choice, right? My husband is a cricket player!"
Hard Work And Dedication
Donna Vekic is making rapid progress up the tennis ladder and from her dedication to training it's easy to see why.
I went for a run this morning in the pouring rain and I got a few 'what the hell's wrong with you' looks. Sometimes I wonder that myself.
