Every week there's a lot happening on the WTA - on the court, off the court, by the numbers, even a few tweets... catch up on it all in this week's WTA Diary.
Battle Of The Sexes II
Forty years on from Billie Jean King's infamous clash with Bobby Riggs, Serena Williams and Andy Murray are eyeing up a slightly more amicable Battle of the Sexes.
Plenty To Play For
While many of the world's Top 50 are catching up on some well deserved rest and relaxation, there are still points to be played for in the final weeks of the year. Over the weekend, Alison Van Uytvanck upset Yanina Wickmayer to win the WTA 125K Series event in Taipei, catapulting her into the Top 100 for the first time in the process.
Samantha Stosur has unveiled Miles Maclagan as her new coach. Former ATP player Maclagan, who has previously coached Andy Murray, Philipp Kohlschreiber, Marcos Baghdatis and most recently Laura Robson, will begin working with Stosur when she begins her pre-season training in Sydney in December.
As the WTA welcomes back one familiar face, it waves farewell to another, umpire Kerrilyn Cramer, whose last match in charge was the final of the Garanti Koza WTA Tournament of Champions.
On Her Travels
Laura Robson gives a sneak peek into her off-season tour around South America.
