Every week there's a lot happening on the WTA - on the court, off the court, by the numbers, even a few tweets... catch up on it all in this week's WTA Diary.
Still Going Strong
Kimiko Date-Krumm may have recently turned 43, but she is showing no sign of slowing down. On Tuesday, she defeated No.7 seed Laura Robson, 64 64, in the first round of the HP Open - her 19th tournament of 2013.
For the record, when 19-year-old Robson was born in January 1994, Date-Krumm was in the midst of a 10-match winning run that would end in the semifinals of the Australian Open.
More Serena Stats
Her victory in Beijing over the weekend saw Serena Williams become just the 10th player in Open Era history to win 10 or more titles in a season. She's also up to No.7 on the all-time titles list.
Sing When You're Winning
In addition to being one of the greatest tennis players of all time, Serena can hold a tune too, according to Voice judge CeeLo Green.
Marion Bartoli may have walked away from professional tennis in dramatic fashion earlier this year, but she is finding it very hard to stay away. Having already signed up for next year's Hopman Cup, the Frenchwoman was recently spotted back at the site of her greatest triumph, competing in the All-England Club's annual members' tournament.
Flower Power In Linz
Andrea Petkovic may be too grown up to bust out her post-match dance, but she certainly couldn't be accused of taking herself too seriously at the Linz player party.
