Fans arrived on Halloween in their most creative Sharapova costumes. Five finalists were chosen and answered questions on Sharapova before the winner, Courtney Witz, was crowned. Witz' grand prize was a night out with her Fave Five: a spa treatment, dinner at Osteria and new Sony Ericsson Equinox™ phones. Second place won a Sony VAIO laptop and third place won a Sony PSP; all four runners-up got Sony Ericsson Equinox™ phones.
Afterwards, Sharapova did a meet and greet with the fans in attendance and a few short interviews. "It's great to see all of the people here supporting me, Sony Ericsson and T-Mobile," the former No.1 said. "There are quite a few people here who do look like me or have dressed up like me. It's really flattering."
When asked what her favorite features of the Sony Ericsson Equinox™ were, Sharapova, Sony Ericsson's Global Brand Ambassador, said: "The unique lighting effects for calls and messages. I can assign five different eye-catching light effects to my Faves so it is easy to know who is calling me. I can also easily connect to the internet and connect with all of my friends while travelling."
