BEIJING, China - Chinese Tennis Festivals hit Guangzhou and Beijing in the fall and last Friday it was time to announce the winners of the blog competition.

As a follow-up program of the festivals and a demonstration of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour's commitment to developing women's tennis in China, the Tennis Festival Blog Competition attracted heated discussions in China and a number of fans shared their exciting Tennis Festival experiences. Nine bloggers were selected for their inspired writing and their support of the Tour's Tennis Festival activities. Sony Ericsson awarded each first prize winner a T707 mobile, complete with a 3.2 million pixel camera. Three second prize winners each won a tennis racquet provided by Wilson. Four third prize winners took home Nike apparel signed by two of China's best players, Li Na and Yan Zi.

"Congratulations to our winners," Kirsten Fisher, Sales & Marketing VP of the Tour's Asia-Pacific Office, said. "I feel the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Tennis Festival was a major success for us and am excited the event inspired the writing of these bloggers. We look forward to even greater interest next year."

"It was so exciting to participate in the Tennis Festival," Chen Lei, the first prize winner, said. "I feel very lucky to be the first winner and win a Sony Ericsson mobile. Since Sony Ericsson WTA Tour opened its Asia-Pacific Office in China, we have been given more chances to participate in exciting tennis activities. I am looking forward to joining in the Tennis Festival next year."
