NEW YORK, NY, USA - Ana Ivanovic is among the stars of the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, published Tuesday, February 9. It is among the the most-read annual publications, with a readership approaching 100 million.
Ivanovic took part in a shoot with photographer Marlena Bielinska in New York last year: "It was a very rewarding experience: fun and challenging at the same time. Obviously a publication like this is run by people who are leaders in their fields and I found it very interesting and enjoyable to work with them."
No fewer than 45 images, including candid shots, can be viewed on the Sports Illustrated 2010 Swimsuit issue website. The swimsuit edition of leading North American magazine Sports Illustrated was first published in 1964. Its publication is seen as one of the biggest annual media events in the US.
This is the multiplatform debut of the 2010 SI Swimsuit franchise. It features more than 1400 photos and 100 videos of the models taken during shoots spanning six countries: Chile, Portugal, India, the Maldives, Canada and the United States. Look for candid 'off-the-clock' photos, interviews and behind-the-scenes footage from a franchise that reached more than 66 million last year.
"Our readers will enjoy the many surprises in the latest installment of this renowned franchise," said SI Group Editor Terry McDonell. "This year's issue features both familiar faces and exciting newcomers and photography that fans have come to expect, transporting them to a new array of exotic locations."
