Court won the first of her five French titles in 1962.

Court's serve carried her to the third of three Wimbledon titles in 1970 - her Grand Slam year.
In 1971 Court, pregnant with her first child, lost the Wimbledon final to Evonne Goolagong.
In 2000, Court was one of 59 champions honored at Wimbledon, attended by the Duchess of Gloucester.
In 2003 one of the show courts at Melbourne Park was renamed Margaret Court Arena.
Court presented the trophies to 2005 Australian Open finalists Serena Williams and Lindsay Davenport.
Court joined Evonne Goolagong Cawley and a raft of Aussie male greats for a photo during the Australian Open in 2005.
During the 2006 French Open, ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti presented Court with the Philippe Chatrier Award.
Court remains highly visible at tennis events, especially at home in Australia.
