Tennis Family Relief For Japan 2011 took place on Stadium court on Friday evening in Miami.
Stars from the WTA and ATP World Tour joined together to show their support for Japan.
Kimiko Date-Krumm, Kim Clijsters, Kei Nishikori and Ayumi Morita at the special ceremony.
Players circulated the stands collecting donations for earthquake and tsunami relief.
At the end of the night, fan contributions and other donations raised over 300,000 dollars.
Denis Istomin and Novak Djokovic posed with Brandy Norwood ahead of their night match.
Vera Zvonareva started off her Sony Ericsson Open campaign against former No.1 Dinara Safina.
Dinara Safina started strong but fell to fellow Russian Vera Zvonareva in three, 36 63 62.
Ayumi Morita was on fire in the second set but ended up falling to Marion Bartoli, 63 26 61.
Anastasia Yakimova was on a roll recently but fell to Kim Clijsters in 49 minutes, 61 61.
