Fans flocked to see the final of Wimbledon's Ladies Invitation Doubles event, held on second Sunday.
Jana Novotna and Martina Navratilova returned to SW19 as Ladies' Invitation Doubles defending champions.
Navratilova displayed trademark athleticism with a behind-the-back volley...
... and apologized when a lucky point went her way.
Martina Hingis, 30 years old and already a legend, teamed up with 35-year-old Lindsay Davenport.
The competition was good-natured, but the combatants nonetheless took their tennis seriously.
Davenport and Hingis, 64 64 victors, greeted Navratilova and Novotna at the net.
The champions acknowledged the crowd after their win.

All four finalists won the singles at Wimbledon during their careers. Navratilova's nine title haul remains the record.
