Gisela Dulko at the party. Argentina's Dulko is South America's only player in the Top 170.

Flavia Pennetta at the party. Pennetta is back in the Top 20 after her Beijing semifinal run.

Andrea Petkovic at the party. Petkovic had to withdraw from Linz due to a right knee injury.

Daniela Hantuchova at the party. Hantuchova is a former champion in Linz, winning it in 2007.

Sabine Lisicki at the party. Lisicki is the world's newest Top 20 player, currently No.17.

Tamira Paszek at the party. Paszek is Austria's only Top 100 player, coming in at No.45.

Rebecca Marino at the party. Marino is the highest of two Canadians in the Top 100, at No.59.
