Players dined on traditional Japanese food as well as Western food and posed with Japanese memorabilia.
Jelena Jankovic has had happy memories at the Toray Pan Pacific Open, reaching the final in 2009.
Three of Japan's best players - Misaki Doi, Kurumi Nara and Ayumi Morita - enjoyed the festivities.
Kurakko, a touring dance group, performed traditional Japanese dances and encouraged players to join.
