Victoria Azarenka beat Elena Vesnina to follow Svetlana Kuznetsova into the quarterfinals.

The third fourth round match saw Bojana Jovanovski take on No.29 seed Sloane Stephens.

Sloane Stephens said after the match Bojana Jovanovski's down-the-lines were unbelievable.

Stephens still managed to win through however, rallying from 2-0 third set to win, 61 36 75.

Kimiko Date-Krumm's fortnight came to an end with a doubles loss with Arantxa Parra Santonja.

The night session saw No.14 seed Maria Kirilenko go up against No.3 seed Serena Williams.

Williams was dialled in, however, firing 22 winners to just six unforced errors in the match.

Williams improved to 6-0 lifetime against Kirilenko with a 57-minute, 62 60 victory.

Meanwhile, on a day off between matches, Agnieszka Radwanska hit the venue's beauty bar.

Radwanska had won her fourth round match against Ana Ivanovic on Sunday evening, 62 64.

Awaiting the No.4-seeded Radwanska in Tuesday's quarterfinals will be No.6 seed Li Na.
