The official player party for the inaugural NÜRNBERGER VERSICHERUNGSCUP took place Monday evening.
A packed house of WTA stars was in attendance, including the tournament's No.4 seed, Julia Goerges.
Andrea Petkovic, a former World No.9, was also in attendance. The theme of the party was A Fairy Tale.
Another German, Dinah Pfizenmaier, at the party. All the players dressed in fairy tale costumes.
There were also some video games at the party - Pfizenmaier, in full costume, tried her hand at one.
Arantxa Rus at the player party. Rus is slotted to play No.1 seed Jelena Jankovic first round.
Speaking of Jankovic, the former World No.1 sported fairy wings for her player party costume.
Former World No.1 doubles player Kveta Peschke with several WTA stars at the official player party.
One of the greatest costumes of the night had to go to Annika "Little Red Riding Hood" Beck.
Armin Zitzmann, CEO of NÜRNBERGER Insurance Group, was interviewed by Pfizenmaier and Beck.
As was Barbara Rittner, a former WTA star and current captain of the German Fed Cup Team.
