Galina Voskoboeva was on hand on Saturday as the NÜRNBERGER VERSICHERUNGSCUP draw was made.
Though "WC J. Jankovic" definitely stands out, a whole host of title threats were on the table...
Piece by piece and chip by chip, the NÜRNBERGER VERSICHERUNGSCUP draw came together like a puzzle.
All the names fell into place and Arantxa Rus had the dubious task of opening against the top seed.
German rising stars Dinah Pfizenmaier and Annika Beck spent time at a speed obstacle course on Sunday.
Pfizenmaier tried the Speed4 parcours...
As did Beck.
And the two Germans watched on as local children and aspiring tennis players tried it themselves.
Afterwards Pfizenmaier - who reached the third round of Roland Garros two weeks ago - signed for fans.
And Beck did the same. Beck reached the second round in Paris before falling to Victoria Azarenka.
Pfizenmaier also ran into some marquee opposition at Roland Garros - World No.4 Agnieszka Radwanska.
Jelena Jankovic arrived at the NÜRNBERGER VERSICHERUNGSCUP to some very warm greetings on Sunday.
The former World No.1 is coming off her first Grand Slam quarterfinal in three years at Roland Garros.
Another pair of Germans - Julia Goerges and Andrea Petkovic - had a special welcome as well...
They met Maya the Bee and her friend Willy, from a comic book series and TV cartoon in Germany.
