Daniela Hantuchova and Donna Vekic posed with some kids ahead of the Aegon Classic final on Sunday.
The first set was tight, and Hantuchova was two points from losing it while serving at 5-6, 15-30.
Vekic hung tough with the former No.5 in the first set - Hantuchova clinched it in a breaker though.
Vekic was the first to draw blood in the second set, breaking serve in the third game to go up 2-1.
But Hantuchova broke right back and eventually broke one last time in the last game to win, 76(5) 64.
Hantuchova, a Slovak veteran, and Vekic, a Croatian teenager, were squaring off for the first time.
Hantuchova had been playing the Aegon Classic since back in 1999 - and she finally conquered it.
Hantuchova collected her sixth WTA title - but the first WTA title of her career on grass courts.
It was also Hantuchova's first WTA title since a lengthy foot injury lay-off last clay court season.
She wasn't the only champion this week - Ashleigh Barty and Casey Dellacqua won the doubles title.
