Liezel Huber and Sania Mirza were edged by eventual finalists Monica Niculescu and Klara Zakopalova.

And the tennis stars were joined by golf stars - Rory McIlroy and former No.1 Caroline Wozniacki.
Wozniacki and Laura Robson played in front of a packed crowd in the second round. Wozniacki won.
The crowd was so packed there wasn't even any standing room - some fans came by in other ways.
Marion Bartoli visited Pevensey & Westham School on Tuesday, meeting the kids and playing mini-tennis.
Bartoli also signed photos that were to be auctioned for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
Jamie Hampton took on Lucie Safarova in what she would later say was "like playing in a cloud".
While Hampton was moving through to the final, Elena Vesnina was doing the same on the other half.
On Finals Day it was all Vesnina though, as the Russian embraced the wind and routed Hampton, 62 61.
Vesnina lifted the trophy - her second WTA title, and first at the Premier-level - on a windy day.
Nadia Petrova and Katarina Srebotnik beat Niculescu and Zakopalova for the doubles title, 63 63.
Petrova and Srebotnik have now won three Premier-level doubles titles this year. Sydney and Miami too.
