There are a lot of small things and details that bring perfection to Wimbledon every single year.
Rufus the hawk isn't really small, but he does scare player-distracting pigeons away from match courts.
And hawks aren't the only animals helping prep the grounds - sniffer dogs do one last round of rounds.
If there's one small thing everyone associates with Wimbledon, it's the strawberry...
Little do people know the amount of preparation and selection it takes to put the best ones forth.
And not just strawberries - strawberries and cream.
142,000 portions of strawberries were consumed during the Wimbledon fortnight this year.
And with about 10 strawberries per portion, that's approaching a million and a half of them total...
Another item popular with patrons and autograph seekers is the official tournament program.
But eventually it's back to the match courts, and the new balls are of the utmost importance.
As are correct grass court shoes - for players, ballkids and linespeople alike.
