Jamie Hampton and Mallory Burdette stepped off the courts on Tuesday for a very special afternoon.
The two American rising stars visited the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital near the Stanford campus.
Burdette's baking skills came in handy - she helped the kids design and bake their own pretzels.
And it wasn't just Burdette's baking skills that came in handy - her inner instructor came out.
By the end of the afternoon, Burdette had coached several children into making top quality pretzels.
The former Stanford player, who started competing at the WTA level a year ago, also signed autographs.
Meanwhile, another American rising star - Hampton - was playing some much more competitive games.
With the help of a table top of rice, Hampton played a game of 'Find The Marker' with the children.
The game involved hiding a Sharpie in the rice in the table and everyone else racing to find it...
And then she joined two of the kids in a three-player game of New Super Mario Bros. Wii on the Wii.
The pair signed autographs, posed for pictures and brought little Bank Of The West bears to the kids.
The hospital specializes in the care of babies, children, adolescents, and expectant mothers.
