Can you spot the two WTA stars in this picture? They're sort of at the back, to the left a bit...
They were Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Sam Stosur - at a kids clinic on Sunday before the tournament.
Sixty kids from the national tennis center in Sofia came out - they played and got autographs, too.
The elite eight had their traditional iconic photo taken in front of the Aleksander Nevski Cathedral.
Afterwards, the eight players were split into two round robin groups - first, Group Sredets...
And Group Serdika. The names are central districts of Sofia, and names given to Sofia in ancient times.
Alizé Cornet stepped out during a day off on Thursday to visit the mTel store in the city.
mTel is one of Bulgaria's biggest mobile companies - Cornet met fans and signed autographs as well.
Cornet will play Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova on Friday - the winner will advance to the semifinals.
Back at the tournament venue, Yvonne Meusburger conducted a kids clinic on Thursday afternoon.
Meusburger is the second alternate here - the first alternate, Elina Svitolina, has joined the draw.
Meusburger is a veteran on the rise - she recently turned 30 and cracked the Top 50 for the first time.
