Casey Dellacqua, one of Australia's top players, took part in the draw ceremony over the weekend.
Maria Sharapova tried her hand as a ballgirl during the Suncorp ballkid training camp on the weekend.
Sharapova has made the trip to Brisbane before but this is the first year she has been able to compete.
Victoria Azarenka was among a star-studded tennis player line-up during the kids day celebrations.
Australian teenager Nick Kyrgios, who won the Australian Open junior event last year, was also there.
Azarenka - who has won her last 22 matches in Australia - signed autographs for her many, many fans.
The two-time defending Australian Open champion also brought some SpongeBob SquarePants cheer to them.
Serena Williams, the defending champion in Brisbane, connected with the fans from the Nova stage.
Dominika Cibulkova, who would play Williams in the quarterfinals, met her fans at an autograph session.
