The big-serving CoCo Vandeweghe was appearing in her second WTA final.
Vandeweghe proudly displayed her trophy after pulling out a 6-2, 6-4 victory.
WTA great and 2003 's-Hertogenbosch champion Kim Clijsters enjoyed herself at the trophy ceremony.
Vandeweghe was 's-Hertogenbosch's first American champ since Kristina Brandi in 1999.
Doubles champs Marina Erakovic and Arantxa Parra Santonja fought off three match points in Friday's final.
This week's Premier event in Eastbourne saw Angelique Kerber take on Madison Keys in the final.
Keys got fired up during her dramatic 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 win at the Aegon International.
Keys gave her hardware a kiss after picking up her first WTA title.
Champion Keys and runner-up Kerber, who still leads her head-to-head with Keys, 2-1.
Keys' triumph means this is the first time since 2002 two Americans won WTA titles in the same week.
The Chan sisters edged Martina Hingis and Flavia Pennetta in the Eastbourne doubles final.
