The Zhonghong Jiangxi International Women's Open organized a very special event on Sunday night...
It was a special boat tour of the Gan River, showcasing the city while players had fun and socialized.
Zheng Jie, the first Chinese ever to make a Grand Slam semifinal, was among those in attendance.
Zheng has actually been to two Grand Slam semifinals - Wimbledon in 2008 and the Aussie Open in 2010.
Yuliya Beygelzimer, a player representative in Nanchang, received a gift from the tournament.
Also among those at the party was Peng Shuai, actually the No.1 seed at the tournament this week.
Peng is the second-highest-ranked Chinese in WTA history, peaking at No.14 - Li Na is at No.2.
Peng is also China's first World No.1 - she made it to No.1 in the world in doubles earlier this year.
Slovakia's Michaela Honcova also got in on the action, playing mini-tennis with fans on the deck.
With the beautiful Tengwang Pavillion all lit up, the players sailed into the Nanchang night...
