As was Andre Agassi, like Sharapova a Career Grand Slam holder and former No.1 player in the world.
The two tennis legends hit with each other on a makeshift tennis court with crowds of fans watching.

Agassi has eight career Grand Slams - four Australians, one French, one Wimbledon and two US Opens.
Sharapova has five Grand Slam titles - one Australian, two Frenches, one Wimbledon and a US Open.
Sharapova has had 21 career weeks as World No.1, while Agassi accumulated 101 weeks as World No.1.
After the hit the two legends hugged.
The pair also posed for photographs, chatted with fans and did some interviews with the media.
Sharapova is a perfect 13-0 in Stuttgart, capturing the title every one of the last three years.
