Favorite surface is clay; best shot is backhand...Father, Marek Grzybowski, is a physcial education teacher who used to coach Magdalena; mother, Matgorzata, is an English teacher who serves as Magdalenas agent; has a younger brother, Michal, who is a student...Graduated from Szkota Mistrzostwa Sportowego (Sport Champions High School), successfully passing her GCE in May 1997, and entered Cracow Academy of Physical Education where she follows an individual program of studies...Favorite movie is One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest; favorite actors are Brad Pitt and Robert Redford; favorite book is Gone With the Wind...Admires Martina Navratilova as a great player and wise person...Most memorable experiences include being sent a basket of 17 roses to her house and she didnt know who they were from, and also playing on (the new) Court No. 1 at Wimbledon.

1996 - Reached 2r of Australian Open and SF of ITF/Prostejov-CZE; halted 10-match losing streak in Luxembourg qualifying
